The Cutback Bitumen MC-250 with a viscosity range of 240-400 at 25°C is a suitable Cutback Bitumen for thicker, more durable applications. Cutback bitumen MC-250 is highly resistant to water and moisture, which makes it an ideal material for waterproofing and other applications where water resistance is important.
Properties
Bitumen MC-250 is blended to a medium viscosity to ensure adequate penetration into the top 5–10 mm of the base with the aid of the cutter while depositing a uniform film of bitumen on the surface to provide strong adhesion between the base course and the new surfacing.
