Bitumen VG 40 Properties
- Viscosity at 60°C: Ensures sufficient stiffness for high-temperature applications.
- Viscosity at 135°C: Ensures adequate fluidity for mixing and paving operations.
- Softening Point: High softening point prevents bitumen from becoming too soft under extreme heat, reducing bleeding on the pavement.
- Flash Point: Ensures safety during heating, as it reduces the risk of ignition.
- Ductility at 25°C: Demonstrates the ability of the bitumen to stretch without breaking, ensuring flexibility under stress.
